The voice though, argh! And it puts our son in a really bad mood even though he says he loves it. It’s easy for him to access by himself too (thanks Netflix) so I end up hiding the remote.

that stuff is weirdly hypnotic for 3-4 year olds. there are a lot of similar videos, just different colored animals popping out of eggs, it's the same thing over and over again but kids love it

Despacito is still #1 with 6.8B but Baby Shark is averaging 300M views per month while Despacito is only tracking at 100M views/month... perhaps by January 2021 Baby Shark could move into 1st.

was terribly terribly ie about to hurl hungover on a hot busy coach ride a couple of years ago and the cheerful community of young italians at the back of the coach kept on singing Despacito over and over again. every time i hear it it takes me very vividly back to that moment.
