It was a treat to see Questlove discover and fall down the *SHREDS* rabbit hole a few weeks back, he was posting tons of videos on his Instagram story.

I don't know if it's an actual 'shreds' video or a 'musicless' music video as the title implies but it's sort of the same concept.

I don't know where else to post this, but 10 years ago on YouTube there was a version of "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" where the vocal track was about a quarter second behind the beat, and it was hilariously bad, and I can't stop thinking about it today.

I heard an anecdote from David Gamson (producer / Scritti Politti member) where he found that the separate tracks in the Pet Sounds box sit together perfectly in Protools. So he pitch shifted some of them so they were just out and made a mixdown. Then, when he next had guests round for dinner, he started a conversation along the lines of "Don't get me wrong, I like the Beach Boys but their tuning could have been better" and played them the mixdown when they asked what the heck he was talking about.
