i think reddish was always gonna be a project, he got caught in a bad situation at duke w/ zion and RJ. it looks like he has a lot to learn about how to play basketball

i thought de'andre hunter made sense for them... getting a wing and defensive stopper to pair with trae. but i watch them now and wonder if they'd have been better off taking a player who can do more when the ball in his hands. hunter will almost def be very good on defense but if his offense maxes out at otto porter/oubre im not sure i'll be overly enthused.

I'm on the fence on both rooks. Cam has the nba body and good instincts, but sucks at putting the ball in the basket. Hunter has looked really solid on offense some games and not so much others. He's surprisingly good at getting to the basket, but a mediocre finisher. I'm willing to wait on both, but tempering my expectations.

marco belinelli has been one of the worst players in the league but he leads the spurs in +/- bc he coattails off the other bench players

I wonder if it’s possible that someone could be the worst defender in the NBA and there’s nothing they can do about it no matter how hard they try

seems like there are some guys who are small and slight who will always be pretty significant negatives. isaiah thomas tried but he was short, had no length to get steals or deflections, and didn't have the core strength to offer any resistance.

he does try. hawks really need an elite 5 who can have his back better than alex len
