the ncaa exploits football and basketball athletes like nobody's business, but there's nowhere near enough money in most college athletics for the ncaa to screw things up very much, e.g. cross-country running races or crew rowing.

That BYU stadium was rocking during the Gonzaga win last night. BYU has this one big meatball Frank the Tank guy that can flat out shoot.

Kentucky is a weird good team. They cannot jump shoot for nothing, which means they are terrible at 3s. Ironically they are really good at free throws...what's that all about? Team would be freakishly good if Tyler Herro would have stayed for a second year.

Speaking of Georgetown, the Athletic had a notification that showed up today about Georgetown beating Creighton in the Big East final and my thought was wait Creighton—in Omaha, Nebraska, where a random assortment of my high school classmates went to college—is in the Big East now? I haven’t had much appetite for watching college hoops this season, but I have zero idea who is in the Big East anymore.
