I just watched the NYT video on how they make the mac n cheese pancakes and it is totally a lot simpler than I would've thought. Pour the pancake, toss on some cooked macaroni, toss in some cheddar, wait and flip.

His daughter is a fantastic artist/designer/illustrator. His other daughter is a filmmaker and used to work at Other Music. I met her once at a show.

i remember getting a club, bread pudding french toast and i think blisters on my sisters. as i recall, it was all good but also all very much a gut bomb. Not light eating and huge portions!

They're still open btw in the new, cavernous Essex Market. I miss the old one. New menu too; maybe the same roster tho:
