i do not believe in the kd kyrie pairing. it's not better than the kd russ pairing and i dont think their surrounding pieces are as good as those okc teams. plus kd may only be 85% of what he was which wont cut it.

He’s bigger than I thought and seems like a strong rebounder. Considering his injury history I’d rather have him be a stretch 4 than chasing around smaller guys. But I guess long term either he or Grant needs to play the 3 some.

They’re gonna really miss redick and shamet tho. I imagine they will be looking hard for shooters In trades or buyouts. Those lineups don’t make sense unless they have some spacing. Their starting 5 might be the best in the league but it’s pretty dire after that.

I'd say Gobert played damn good defense on that play and forced Zion to make a difficult 'touch' basket while he was falling away. That was no gimme. Good for two, but not exactly what I'd call 'beasting' on Gobert.

there was no way for the celtics to keep horford, lose kyrie, and add kemba and i’m pretty sure al knows that which makes that quote extra frustrating.

I think I saw a crawl that said Kyrie had a "facial fracture".

It could be the year for 7 teams tbf. None of the good teams can afford a starter injury really (warriors already two starters injured, pg is out for at least the first ten games, and now brow for a month it sounds like)

Source tells me Lakers are worried Davis thumb injury is similar to Drew Brees. Surgery would cost him about a month. Chris Paul has similar injury.

well worse prob, that team was a playoff bunched up at second in the west before all the injuries, this team w/o brow wld be skunked imo

it would just be AWFUL if lebron missed the offs again
