I've been doing this thing where I record unplanned, one-take, hour-long mixes, each of which uses only records that come from a single shelf of my collection (one of those square IKEA shelves that fits like 70 singles). It's mostly a creative way of making myself listen to the records I already own, and to see how I mix. It's also a way of giving more purpose to DJing/collecting records, seeing as I have no opportunities to DJ out. Anyways, I recently made one I'm quite pleased with, from my shelf that spans labels that include but are not limited to mule, dial, smallville, and giegling. This one has tracks from Henrik Schwarz, Kettenkarrusel, Brendon Moeller, STL, Roman Flügel, Frantzvaag, Jurgen Junker, Christopher Rau, Kuniyuki, and Traumprinz.
