I know he mentioned a server in the transcript, but it seems like there's a non-negligible chance that Trump still believes email to be tangible, physical thing and that all of Hillary's emails are in like a big pile in some Ukrainian cave or something.

The great tragicomedy of Trump's presidency is that if he was willing/able to be a little flexible, to try and learn the ropes just a smidge, to surround himself with competent advisors, and I mean just to exert the most minute amount of effort imaginable, he could have really gotten some sinister-ass shit done.
