If you could have the goose cross over into any cinematic or game universe, what would it be and why?
It would be nice to see the goose chase Postman Pat over a hedgerow. That era of British children’s television has been a huge influence on the game.

It took me a while to find the "wrong" glasses for him so he was down on the ground feeling around for like 15 minutes and I felt bad

fostering a Bad Relationship between the artist and the tea-drinking newspaper reader was delightful. you bring them down to your level.

When I play this, for all its simplicity I think of all the potential. You can migrate! You can be hunted! You can descend upon a golf course and shit all over the place! In fact, for the sequel they should give the goose a dedicated shit button.

I had thought it would be more open world and just go about your day being horrible in whatever ways you can think of (a la Goat Simulator) but it probably works best as it is tbh

would have liked a "hiss" button though, for that amusing lisping hiss geese do, or Greylag geese anyway: thhhh...

I was kayaking down the Chicago River with my kid the other day, and when get back to the dock it's covered with geese (and goose poop), and this one alpha goose just turns to us as we approach and hisses, like a total asshole.

I really REALLY hope that if/when they make a sequel they call it Titled Goose Game just to really fuck with people

also pls do not fuck with real-life geese if you can help it, one of em almost killed one of my college instructors

finished the main game. haven't checked out the bonus stuff yet. i want to replay though because i feel like i got through some levels (particularly the golden bell) via brute force (i.e. just running away) instead of stealth/intelligence.

the flapping wings button doesn't come into play at all really right?

I mean, if you press the button, you open your wings, making you appear larger and more intimidating.

It's there to make you feel more like a goose.

I think among the best aspects of this game are the fact that there is no time limit and that there are no real repercussions. You can just take your sweet goose time.

Can't get the groundskeeper to show up. Grabbed the radio, which turned on, walked around a bit ... turned the sprinkler on ... I know I'm bad at video games but I've never been stymied this early on in a game.

Not that I've ever even seen the guy. Maybe I need to do something to make him show up?
