I don't think I've ever visited the People's Republic of Herne Hill tbh.

PRHH has an excellent West Indian take away right by the station, so post-drink fuel needs are v well catered for.

Half-moon or Commercial for options. There are a couple more but those are best.

ENBB - HH station is 10 mins by train from Victoria or 15 min walk from Brixton tube. The pubs are by HH station.

Man alive, I loved the Commercial in the mid/late 80s, so much so I have trouble drinking in there these days (not so much trouble that I refuse to drink in there, just enough that I go on endlessly about how much I liked it in the old days.

When do you all want to do this. I can do mid-next week. More flexible after that

That almost went horribly wrong. All the trains from Herne Hill were cancelled but I managed to get a bus and 2 tubes to London Bridge and my train arrives in 7 minutes. then in theory I get a bus from Tunbridge Wells and I get home about 2:30 if I'm lucky...

Once again I completely avoided talking to Fizzles. I swear I'm not doing this deliberately

Blimey, for once things are working out, if my train existed I would be arriving at Hastings now but the bus actually turned up this time and just stopped at Battle so I might even get home before 2!
