Tracer... yes, I thought about just doing a battery replacement for my SE (I am fighting the loss of headphone jack as long as I can) but my 128GB SE is so full it can't even take pictures because there's no space left! I need that 256GB upgrade. I'm poking around online today to see if I can find a reputable source for a new 8/256GB model.

But yeah, I've got about 100GB of mp3s and the rest is photos. Jumping to 256 will let me just dump my entire mp3 collection on the iPhone without worrying about what I have to leave off.

i'm on 64GB and it's fine but i do sync & delete my photos

macbooks are so expensive these days too... my MBP is 8 years old. don't have space to sync & delete photos : /

I’ve managed to get by with a 16gb SE these past 3 years. I have a separate MP3 player so I don’t keep music on it. I transfer my photos off of it regularly and I don’t use many apps. Still I’m currently barely squeaking by.

you could probably buy a dozen 500GB drives for the same cost as a new phone. and you could put your Apple Photos library on one of them.

it's important that I have access to all my cat photos so I can work them into conversations while I'm out here in the world

that's the one me and my 2013 15" are holding out for. 14" screen, new keyboard, three pounds and able to open on an airplane would be perfect

I'm tempted to trade in my iMac and MBP for the new one and finally settle down with just one computer I can take back and forth to work, but it's hard to think about giving up the iMac's sweet monitor

I'm sad that the 5k iMac can't do target display mode due to.. a number of reasons

otherwise, waiting for someone to dump one of those suckers when the hardware becomes underpowered would be a great source for a nice display

Finally had to throw in the towel on my cracked, shitty 6s. I got an 11 and have been using a dragonfly mini amp through a lightning to USB adapter to power my headphones. It sounds great tbh, unwieldy but the improved sound is worth it. The 6s didn’t work well with the dragonfly for some reason.

microcenter has the base model ipads for $260, and i'm tempted to get one just to stream basketball games while i'm making dinner or whatever.

Very good at making you look like a dweeb while wearing it.

It’s nice for when you get a notification instead of pulling your phone out if your pocket to discover it’s a worthless message you can just glance at your watch. That and 2 year old kids love looking at pictures of themselves on it.

my iPhone SE is now randomly showing me the shutdown screen and not recognising my fingerprints. The Internet says this is probably because of a damaged 'flex cable' connected to the power button.

This ever happen to anyone else? Really don't want a new phone but I don't want to pay big buxx for somebody to fix that cable.

Sounds like you may not have a choice. Is battery ok?
