No. The will transferring the estate to his brother is 2 days before Epstein's death. The media Ghislane disclosures were a day or two before, too.
These could imply that Epstein was aware of plans afoot to off him, but they're also consistent with suicide, or my pet theory of assisted suicide.

I don't think it can be ruled out -- it's not like it would be odd for someone in his position, accused of his crimes, to want to kill himself rather than stand trial, it's just that there's also so much to suggest otherwise.

As with the Polanski and Weinstein cases I seem to meet a lot of people who are under the impression these men simply liked going to excessive, debauched parties, which (so people maintain) is what one does, and what one would do, if one was in showbiz and/or had a lot of money.
It's disturbing: these people can't seem to tell the difference between excess and abuse.

Plus, you don't have to go to an exclusive millionaire sex party to witness an example of someone who is having sex not because they want to but because they need money or are being controlled or intimidated. That could be the person who sits next to you at work. So really, the blindness to what this dude and his buddies actually were doing, the rhetoric of it was just wild times and high jinks, is weak and troubling imo.

I hate to be that guy, but I'm not clear on how that implicates Thiel, Zuckerberg or Chan. Is it saying that everyone invited received a guest list in advance and knew Jeffrey Epstein would be there? And was this like a 10 person dinner or a hundred person dinner? I just think people shouldn't be sloppy with equating someone who kinda sorta traveled in the same circles with him to someone who took money from him, partied with him, went to his island etc.

An anonymous massage therapist who claims to have been sexually assaulted by Kevin Spacey has died, according to a notice filed in court by the actor's attorneys. The individual, suing as a "John Doe," filed claims in September 2018 with the allegation of being forced to grab the actor's genitals twice during a massage two years earlier at a private residence in Malibu. In May, a federal judge in California allowed the case to move forward despite Spacey's objection that the plaintiff's identity was being shielded. Now, just a month after the parties came to a plan for proceeding in the suit that detailed prospective discovery and envisioned a seven- to 11-day trial, the plaintiff's attorney has informed Spacey that the client "recently passed."

At Financial Trust, a company with fewer than a dozen employees, investment expenses varied widely, from $1.3 million in 2000 to $16 million in 2004 to $42 million in 2005. In 2006 — the year Mr. Epstein was charged in Florida — Financial Trust pushed $117 million into an unnamed subsidiary whose purpose was undisclosed. The subsidiary was apparently transferred to Southern Trust in 2013, and by the end of 2017 the subsidiary accounted for more than half of the company’s $391 million in assets. The filings also disclose that Southern Trust received a $30.5 million loan that same year, but don’t say who provided it.One thing the financial statements make clear: Mr. Epstein paid himself handsomely. He pocketed $400 million in dividends and other payments from the companies starting in 1999 — the first full year after he moved his operations to the Virgin Islands from New York. The opacity of Mr. Epstein’s financial dealings has been a perplexing issue since he was arrested in July on federal charges of sex trafficking with underage girls. Although the criminal case against him closed after he committed suicide in federal custody in August, Mr. Epstein’s finances remain an important matter for women who are suing his estate claiming they were among his victims.
