I guess this would be the thread where it’s cool to speak ill of the dead.

he had a bunch of socks where he would claim to be various outrageous things, like being a necrophiliac or w/e. standard troll shit, but he was really good at it - some of his socks i didn't even know were him until years and years later - and his trolls all had so much joie de vivre to them. despite all the fucked up shit he'd been through he was a genuinely happy person, and that attitude really came through in his trolling. he just really enjoyed provoking closed-minded and petty people.

possibly, aside from differences in how we might individually define the terms, the intent or effect of socks v trolls comes across differently to each of us also
