I reserved a car yesterday
I cancelled it today
I needed it for one day
It was going to cost $54
They are charging me a $37 cancellation fee because I received a confirmation on the reservation at 6:28 yesterday and I wasn’t transferred to them to try to cancel it until 7:00, ergo I was past the 24 hour mark and it is impossible for cancellation fees to be removed from their system
As someone who works on an application that allows the charging of all sorts of fees, I believe they are 100% full of shit
