have ciara's albums been patchy following this? i only sporadically liked the singles so i don't think i ever listened in full

Jackie was surprisingly strong throughout
And beauty marks is actually really good but admittedly a bit patchy
Basic instinct tho yes had like the highest highs but was the most patchy

the s/t is a good album... jackie was a mess but sort of an endearing one given the abandoned "one woman army" concept. "dance like we're making love" is amazing tho, very underrated song.

beauty marks sounded outright terrible to me tho outside of "thinkin about you" (her missed opportunity at a no 1 hit after her wildly successful world cup jam) and "freak me" which is dope but also just a straight rip off of another song

Ciara was a very good album, I feel that I was OTM in my review of it (/deej).

Adore “thinkin bout you” but the rest of the new album hasn’t really stuck with me.

this is the song "freak me" is a remake of... i actually like the beat on the ciara song better
