All the great Belle and Sebastian songs out there and they went with “I Want the World to Stop”??

I hate lists like these. I have very polarizing reactions to indie music. When a few good songs are placed next to 10 Beach House, 15 Arcade Fire and 12 Tame Impala songs (for example) I have to burn the list.

I love Sebadoh, but lmao at the thought of 'Ocean' being a better song than Lana's 'Video Games'. There's an ocean between the two.

it's not actually misogynistic, it's just in the persona of a misogynist, meant as commentary is a poor excuse that is seldom trotted out for anyone other than (white) rock artists

(black) rap artists use this "excuse" way more.

Never heard the Tame Impala song, but the lyrics seem more like self- loathing than amy hatred of women.
