I like this guy but boy can he not hit right now. Maybe Chris Davis can give him a talk about "what to do when you're slugging under .200" -- Davis seems to be finding his way back to replacement level, maybe Broxton can too.

i don't mind them picking him up, but (the authority to spend) $500,000 in bonus pool money is actually useful! especially for a rebuilding team! there's no reason to give that up for a below-replacement quad-a player who'd already been dfa'd
