this is my cousin dom (the one with swagger/haircut of the beatles and the hair transplant of Wayne Rooney who is pointing at Harold Wilson statue) with his over 60's ukulele band.

Twisted Wheel have more depth than some critics gave them credit for: “I was getting compared to Dylan, Cohen, Donovan before Twisted Wheel then we became a band and playing those same songs then getting called lad rock,” he says. “That’s bloody bone idleness to be honest. They try and destroy you people. There's a lot of jealously out there. You normally find people who are instigating stuff like that are out of bands who aren’t getting anywhere in their own band.” Brutal.

Based on a cursory listen to their 2012 single 'Ride', they're mildly preferable to Greta Van Fleet.

Their latest, 'Nomad Hat', is vaguely listenable. I don't hate the stuff, possibly due to some lingering exoticism.

There's something nearly poignant about loads of the circa 2015 images being reduced to an indistinguishable blur due to Photobucket's swingeing share policy. It's as if these are bands were so unremarkable they aren't even retained in the memoryscape of this thread, just a hazy blur of swaggering Parkas, fading away like a dream upon waking.
