This is the much better Juicy Fruit jingle i remember (written by Steve Karmen who wrote TONS of jingles anyone who grew up in the '70s or '80s remembers - I Love New York, This Bud's for You, etc., and also the Northern Soul classic "Breakaway")
The jingle being polled is lame though no matter what style it's in. Wrigley's needs to revive the Big Red jingle instead.....

i haven't heard the new one, but there's no way it can top the original, which is one of the greatest songs of all time. that jingle pops into my head all the time. juicy fruit, it's going to move you. juicy fruit, it gets right to you. juicy fruit, it's really really REALLY going to move you.

Check out the link, man. It's the "it's gonna move ya" jingle done in different genres.
You people need to stop opining on random crap and start listening to the jingles and voting.

the new ones are all terrible and miss the whole point of jingles, which is to get the refrain stuck in your head. you can let any of the new ones play twice in a row and remember nothing, they're plodding turgid messes. who the fuck puts a full measure between "take a stick" and "pull it out" in a fucking gum jingle? chumps, that's who. total chumps

basically a jingle is only worth its salt if it can be sung by 10 year old boys about farts

gotta say I was not expecting anything to challenge the OG jingle, and none of them have any of its earworm quality, but I found myself really enjoying & getting pumped up to Juicy Rap. Not wearing shoes but if I was I def would have got them tied up.

Is there a poll of all the 80s Wrigleys earworm jingles?

These are supposed to all be irredeemably bad, right?Never thought I'd wind up stanning for the original jingle as a paragon of songcraft relative to any other tune but here we are.

oh whoa. decades-dormant melody-memory instantly reactivated! feel like it's 1991 and I'm about to re-join our scheduled broadcast of tonight's episode of Wheel of Fortune already in progress
this thread also made me remember this, which I want to say I was repeatedly exposed to during airings of Saved by the Bell
