both great but CCR's insane short period of genius is one of the great accomplishment of rock n roll
I agree, CCR is the <3 and I would vote for them over Thin Lizzy, but there are moments where Phil Lynott’s voice just gets me in a way that Fogerty can’t (and never really tries to).
Those two bands have two of my favorite rhythm sections: so tough, but still lithe.
