Sometime I think there is nothing worse in life than Jim Breur.

I consider myself blessed, I don't recognize that name at all.

Jim Breuer is like nails on a chalkboard for me.

i remembera few months before i saw the trailer for this, i thought, "WHERE is john c. reilly's lead role in a movie?! LONG OVERDUE" then... i saw this!

Did no one else but me see this?

Good cast! I don't think I even heard of it.

this was incredibly uneven, though there were a lot of funny parts.

First third and last ten minutes of this are great, but it sags HEAVILY in the middle. From right after Dewey discovers cocaine and meets Darlene right up till the rap video with the Walk Hard sample, total snore, lots of VERY unfunny bits. But the 35 minutes of this that are good make it worth seeing. Especially

Getting tired of seeing he same eight comedic actors in every goddam movie, by the way. Jack Black, please take a vacation fer crissakes. Freaks and Geeks was great and Superbad definitely very good, but is Apatow gonna just, like, recycle the same five actors in every movie now?

saying it "hates music" is a bit like saying 'airplane!' "hates commercial aviation".

The Dylan bit, or at least the song "Royal Jelly", is fucking great.

there's some funny stuff in this movie but a lot of it isn't very funny. and the songs aren't funny at all...i mean let's duet is okay but i was expecting some more jokes from that one.

the dylan nonsense song was pretty hilare.

i loved it.

aww shit this was such a fucking stinker. there were some laughs (everything with tim meadows). but you know it was SO FUCKING LAZY. the tunes were actually pretty bad-ass (except for the last song).

Pretty much. Some good laughs. Wouldn't need to see it again but I wouldn't mind hearing the songs (or at least a full version of the cover of Bowie's "Starman.")
