There was a, er, KJ, who used to set up at my local who had "Tuesday's Gone." I live to find that again.

Also, why does every karaoke bar have "Love is the Drug" and "Virgina Plain" but no other Roxy? Very sad...

A friend did Cheap Trick's Surrender last night at Kiss-me-oke and it was fantastic. I may have to get drunk enough to attempt it sometime. If any karaoke bar ever has Fleetwood Mac Secondhand News, I'm doing it, but this has yet to happen. But mark my words!

Ain't "Keep On Loving You" teh sweet? It always brings me joy to catch the change on the second "and I meant, every word i said etc..."

Went for an all-90s night at karaoke last week.

People went nuts for all three. I think the potential for mining 90's radio rock nostalgia among 20-somethings has gone relatively unnoticed at least at karaoke. In the same vein, the all-time biggest response I've ever gotten at karaoke was for 4 Non Blondes - What's Up (What's Going On).

I do a lot of rap, like T.I.'s Dead and Gone, and have also done Nas's "If I Ruled the World" several times. like to also do stuff like Kool and the Gang's "Too Hot", Barry White's "Practice What You Preach", and "Razzle Dazzle" from Chicago.

i'm a semi-professional singer (in that some of my gigs unpaid, some paid), so like I also do at rehearsals for performances, sometimes I tape performances to see what I can improve on in the future. last night I sang "Father Figure" and did that but the Blackberry was next to this obnoxious guy who was singing along. I got to the riff at the end ("I will be youuuuuuuuuuuurs, FATHERRRRRRRRRRRR, I'll be your daddy, oh"), and on the recording you hear the guy go "HE GOT IT!". made me lol.

last week did Bubba Sparxxx--Ugly (boring song to do) and T.I.'s Live in the Sky. gonna try Big Shit Poppin' this week!
