tbc this particular admissions scandal is uniquely hilarious for the criminal ineptitude at work

Yeah, my other take on this is lighten up because this is funny as fuck and people enjoy watching rich people trainwrecks

The toker, who sports a ponytail and raps under the name “Billa,” then shamelessly plugged his music. “Check out my CD, ‘Cheese and Crackers,’ ” he said of his 2018 five-track record that includes a song titled “If I Lost My Money.”

Why is the steering wheel on the left

why has the pedestrian crossing disappeared

cheese canopy (map), Monday, 25 March 2019 00:02 (five years ago) link

The pedestrian crossing has disappeared because the mobile generation are too busy looking at phones to find the correct place to cross.
The Beatles are all going in different directions because despite the interconnectedness of the mobile and social media generation we have lost that true human connection that pulls us together.
The steering wheel is on the left as it represents the real Paul McCartney (a left handed Beatle) who was dead by the time this picture was taken.

Non, je ned raggette rien (onimo), Monday, 25 March 2019 00:29 (five years ago) link

That last one would explain why John is left-handed in the pic.

pplains, Monday, 25 March 2019 00:32 (five years ago) link

the steering wheel on the left is why the driver has lost control. he's not used to it, it's a rental and there was a mix-up somewhere about the wheel, now he's already left the lot and he's checking the console for the receipt and BAM! paul is dead

Closing the border to legal goods is much easier than closing it to humans coming over which is obvious to any child.

Because closing the border to LEGAL traffic and trying to stop illegal immigration are obviously two different things? The wall (as bad an idea as it is) is not designed to "close the border," it's designed to prevent people from making unauthorized crossings. Close the border means close the legal crossings.

I feel like this is a common tactic -- deliberately misconstruing what the other side is saying rather than arguing against it. It's great for the echo chamber but does nothing to convince anyone.

Like, some animals spend all fucking day grazing just so they can have the energy to keep grazing, it's really not some grand irony that we have to work to have a place to live that we aren't in while we are working.

we post to a message board all day to avoid work that doesnt need to get done for people that cant tell and dont care whether it gets done so we can afford to pay the data charges to complain about our co-workers on a message board

Going back to that traffic jam photo, most of those drivers are coming back from vacation. Should've just stayed at home if they knew they were going to go back to work anyway.
