I like how "Lightworks" appears here in three variations: the original, J-Dilla's appropriation and then MF DOOM rapping over the latter.

A couple of other things: entries for Mekons + The Mekons and Germs + The Germs (Perhaps not terribly important except that I panicked thinking "Lexicon Devil" and "Never Been in a Riot" had been eliminated.)

My estimate would be that I like my #1, I don't know, maybe twice as much as my #50? So if I changed the top 10 to 300 points, that'd be 3,000, and the bottom 25 to 150, that'd be 3,750, leaving 3,250 for the middle 15, which works out to...a decimal. So just leave it like it is--the numbers are easy to work with.

btw, for those who are up late on a Saturday night (or up super early on a Sunday morning): how long should the voting period be? 3 weeks sound about right (ballots due by the end of Sunday, March 31st)?

I know it's a ton of songs so we need a decent amount of time, but I don't want to do one of those interminable polls that go on and on (even this nominations process took forever, i thought)

1-10: 300 points (3,000)
11-25: 217 points (3,255)
26-49: 150 points (3,600)
50: 145 points (145)

it's a ridiculous compromise: you know you want to agree to this

or if not, i'll just go with your option you mentioned above. but it's really not a big deal (on my end) to do the one i just posted, and then the spread would be a lot closer. others might like that too, and also they might appreciate your option because it's entirely made up of tiers

I'm going to continue working on a youtube playlist with the 407 songs not on Spotify. They are the last songs for me to check for mistakes and I might be done checking by tonight. I've pretty much been working on corrections/youtube song gathering a few hours each day since Friday

I have no idea how to do this :( there used to be Windows Movie Maker that would do it but it's not available on Windows 10. Tried installing something calling itself Movie Maker but it doesn't let you add an audio file
