I'm quite tempted to nominate and vote for one of my own tracks I submitted to an ilx comp a few years back. That I won't is testament to the little humility I've learnt here

(not the tinymusic comp btw, although someone might as well nominate that in its entirety at this rate)

i actually recorded a voice memo the other day of me jingling some keys inside a bowl of water. i slowed it down to 0.8x speed and it's pretty trippy. 53 seconds total, and i'll upload it to spotify here in a minute. nominating because it's definitely going to finish in the top 100 of this poll

Whoever is coordinating the art would send like the names of five songs that made the list to each “artist” and they take 10 minutes and send em back

If someone (not me) wants to volunteer to do the coordinating/sizing/uploading, I’ll def draw some. I bet we could get at least 10 people who would draw 10 2-minute drawings, easily

Feel like Whiney is taking the piss and also I cannot draw anything given 2 days, but I would participate in this if it didn't make KM's life harder trying to herd us all.

i'll have to think about it. tbh, i also like just making new images, which also takes a ton of time, and despite many kind words i'm sure the result images were not everyone's cup of tea. i made custom ones for each song for the b-52s poll, but that was relatively easy because i used the album covers as the template for each song. i'm not sure what i would do for this one. but i kind of like the challenge of figuring it all out and making a cohesive set of images. on the other hand, i really like the idea of a bunch of people submitting images because participatory projects are just so much fun, and people tend to get more excited about things when they played an active role in some way.

anyway, plenty of time to think about it

I do think that it would be super fun, but honestly, trying to herd people is the worst. I think it'd actually be easier on you to do it on your own.
