This is lovely except for one of the tracks near the end which has a really high pitched tone all the way through and is pretty much unlistenable

any other balearic fans loving the helado negro album? it's not really balearic but i get v similar feelings out of its sounds. (and it's such a good album.)

i hate on that label but i have to admit each of those comps has turned me on to at least one all time bomb ... though imo at least 75% of the obscurities on those comps should have stayed obscure

wow dude those are worth a lot of money! my favorite, the sean p one, is going for like $80 on discogs.

i think some of them are better than others. i like the ones by sean p, lexx, burgess & green, and rong music a lot more than the rest. but i'm not really hardcore balearic so there you go

the moonboots one is about half bangers i think (sth national, esposito, band aid, radio band, flayer), but kind of agree about the rest

The page now shows 29 copies available. I feel like artists do this on purpose to get people to order quickly. If either of these guys ever complain about streaming royalties after charging $55 for 20mins of music, they can die in a fire.

A chunk of that is for shipping though. Looking at vinyl prices, £30 for a small press issue doesn't seem that extravagant.

They better not be lying about the total pressing too. This is the third time I’ve been had by intentionally misleading bandcamp “x copies left” slimy sales tactics. The other two times my fav store Commend (mentioned earlier) had them in stock a week after they “sold out” on bandcamp. It’s a bit shitty to drive sales by going “well yeah technically this particular box has 20 copies left in it so it’s not a lie”

Sure, $30 for a small press is fine, and yeah, the shipping does make it much worse, but what are the options? You can only buy this if you agree to the shipping fees, so shipping is part of the price of this item. This won't be for sale in my (or your) local shop.

I hope not, or I'll feel like even more of a sucker.
