The track lengths aren't listed on Discogs so an alternative secondary source was needed! But the version in my iTunes library is 1:57 and Youtube version is 1:55.

Oh and Discogs does actually have the track length on "100 Hits Northern Soul" which is 1:57 and I imagine is the same version (but I can't verify)

I feel like I haven't done due (doo?) diligence when it comes to doo-wop. All the stuff I used to throw on mix-tapes 30 years ago, I only have a fraction of that on my hard drive. And I'm too lazy to start pulling records off the shelf and checking times. I looked over a couple of online lists, which mostly consisted of hits. I know there are at least a couple of lesser known songs that would make my list. But again, lazy.

I nominated tracks I like, but I'm ready to be wowed by other people's noms and work a bunch of them into my ballot. I doubt I'll vote for everything I nominated.

The variety has been one of the main pleasures when looking for those songs, I'm glad if we a have a variety of structure and tone: energetic songs, little laments, interludes, traditional songs. In such a context, many genres can shine, including vocal jazz or Bulgarian village songs.
