Wishbone Ash are pretty important too in the development of heavy metal with their twin guitar leads that pretty much every 70s metal band inc Judas Priest say influenced them.

Exile is good but I voted for Sticky Fingers (which I prefer anyway) in the last poll so I’m going to follow my heart and vote for Argus.

It's not wholly 'perfect' but three or four brilliant songs is enough so going with my first thought Wolf City, also because it probably won't get too many votes in this grouping.

Listening to Dr. John's Gumbo today, and it occurred to me that I've listened to that more than anything on this list, including the Roxy Music album I voted for.

Earl, How do you track your listening? Assume if it’s back to 1996 it’s not computer plays tracked by software.

I have been keeping a couple of Excel spreadsheets and an Access database I built years ago. Same setup tracks my Cds and LPs. It started on an old Windows 3.1 box.
