I was preparing to highlight stuff like McFarland wanting to call his book Promythus: The God of Fyre or the existence of a company called Dog Shit Media but then I got to the sentence about Billy expecting there to be a narrow window to put the book out before his next festival made him a success again (and even that's not the fabled "last sentence").

just reading a lucid first-hand account of woodstock from someone in a down-bill band and omg that event really only missed by a whisker being a MUCH more serious catastrophe than fyre festival, arguably bcz it was (reversing the FF set-up) much easier to arrive at than leave, plus it was close enough to nyc that the disgruntled and unimpressed authorities could actually drag everyone's nuts out of the fire
