preferences and aptitudes for jobs are pretty diverse, so id expect some people to prefer a mw job to the JG job. some will likely prefer unemployment, too

I signed up for the Young People’s Socialist League in high school in the ‘90s (SPUSA youth org). There were five members in Texas.

Have been skipping a lot lately but enjoyed the ep on Studio 60. Further reinforces my sense that the original lineup is way better than when they mix in Virgil or Amber.

Opposite, I missed Amber compared to the other Sorkin/movie eps. (Didn't miss Virgil)

I have nothing against Virgil per se it's just that (1) his earnest wonkiness steers the show more in a typical politipodcast direction and (2) his frustrated nerd schtick is sort of redundant to Matt, only weaker, like adding a slice of american cheese to one that already has sharp cheddar on it

Felix is obviously the most consistently funny one, but most of the absolute sharpest/smartest jokes are Virgil. Felix has the best batting average but Virgil’s hitting the grand slams.

Matt Christman is the least funny member of a comedy podcast.
