Let's try this different: I'm gonna throw everything in one big hopper so folks can hit random and try listening genre blind. Tracks added as time allows and as interest on my end is available.

i appreciate all the work you put into the lists, I use them frequently.

thanks man. the way this is organized this year is gonna be to reward bulk listening... folks who are on the road a lot or just need background may find this useful.
I neglected to point this out in the opening post, but I'm going to be setting this up as MONTHLY playlists... basically everything discussed in all the above threads each month. Hopefully that should make these less onerous and more easy to navigate.
So, again, that earlier playlist is for January on ILM.

So I think the thing I'd like to do here is set up monthly threads for people to discuss what they're hearing in the playlist that they like; more of a genre-blind listening clubhouse project. Would folks be likely to participate? Anybody wanna jump in with January finds?

Or perhaps not? Anyways, this month has pulled down almost two hundred tracks already and I'm rummaging through alphabetically and finding some nice stuff. The Anitta "Veneno" song is likely the current stand out but I will admit to finding American Football to be more enjoyable than I presupposed!

Glad you like “Veneno”, forks.I like this grab-bag idea in theory, but I also know that I’m permanently lagging behind in my listening to my own to-listen-to playlists in genres that I actively (try to) follow, so I’m not sure how realistic this would be for me.(Maybe there will be more appetite for this once EOY season is over?)

Could be! I'll drop a separate thread in February and follow my own drummer with it.
