Songs I know that are all in league with "Venus" (some even better): "Blossom Lady," "Shocking You," "Never Marry a Railroad Man," "Out of Sight, Out of Mind," "Send Me a Postcard," "Inkpot," maybe more. "Out of Sight, Out of Mind" is my favorite of these.

My girlfriend has "At Home," and it's surprisingly good! Some nice heavy beats, subtle sitar, fuzz guitar - it's all in there.

WTF Tim Ellison? Red Rubber Ball? Shocking Blue? Have you been looking at my iTunes recently played tracks or something? Actually I only know "Venus" but I'll have to check those others out if you say they're good.

"send me a postcard" has one of THEE greatest fuzz breaks of all time.

i can't help but feel this band would be held in higher esteem if not for "venus"

Send Me A Postcard is one of the best songs EVER, but the rest of Scorpio's Dance is nothing like it, was it on the original or is it just a bonus track? I was quite disappointed when I downloaded the whole album when it got reissued a couple of years ago. I already have the 7" so I don't think I'll bother with the CD.

Wow, there's a Shocking Blue thread. I've been listening to a Greatest Hits album of theirs which is OK but I wish it was a bit better. "Love Buzz" isn't on it. They sound a bit like a pop rock version of Jefferson Airplane, talking of which I like how Mariska Veres not only looked like a cross between Grace Slick and Cher but sounded like it too.
