I'm waiting for something truly captivating on a body and soul level. Mind you, I've been waiting for that for twelve years.

i'm waiting to see if The Avalanches can/want to try and equal/top 'Since I Left You' (which i do regard as a landmark album of recent times for me, i'm not sure if i feel it on a 'body and soul leve' but i THINK i do) - i think they could if they decided to take their Beach Boys influence further and make the next album a cross between the first, 'Pet Sounds', 'Discovery' and oh just about every great album evah...

waiting is bad, what a strange thing to do!

plus, what these hoary old rock men dont realise is that they might no like the next revolution/big thing/whatever. what they really should say is "we are waiting for some white men to make another rock album"

Noel Gallagher says:
"We need another Liam or another Ian Brown or another Bobby Gillespie. It will happen sooner or later...someone will come in and in one album will make me obsolete."

BUT YOU ALREADY ARE OBSOLETE FUCKFACE!

New Killing Joke album. Not that it's going to change anyone's mind, but I'm personally curious to hear it.

Noel Gallagher was obsolete at birth.

>>waiting is bad, what a strange thing to do!<<

yes it is. mostly bad, often virtually unbearable. but it's also something of an art form in its own right.
