I think only the teams that made the playoffs the previous year EARN the 5th and final earned edition jerseys.

some of these are pretty cool

they shdve made shittier ones for the worst teams, 8th seed gets some microsoft word/cafe press looking units

celtics and miami r nice

a separate team of guys on the court who don't play but just stand around wearing special jerseys

these are all good ideas, let's keep brainstorming further inroads the NBA can make into the fashion and graphic design leadership space

the current normal heat uniforms are extremely bad imo but red/black/orange is a pretty sick color combo and these have a pretty classic feel to me

i get where they're coming from insofar as the name/logo/colors are all sort of inextricably linked and shifting to the blue/pink/black scheme definitely erodes that... otoh those jerseys are extremely sick so

dont feel like the heat even have a very developed or coherent ~visual brand~ tbh, agree w jordan re those one uniforms but overall theyve been pretty blah imo

those are good. nice to see them really downplay the UA logo and also do an actually well thought out treatment of the SC30 logo

ya ua logo is ugly man

feel like a huge key to nikes success is their logo is shoe shaped and also works stand alone, something other companies might want to think about, guess its hard when u start out as a base layer provider

for sure. adidas has the luxury of using three stripes however they see fit, which is usually pretty easy to make a part of a design (and if not then just throw the classic trefoil logo on the tongue and call it good)
