i guess ostensibly critical, but really quite softball profiles of right wing lunatics are good for rage clicks. you need to be able to create enough plausible deniability to avoid people thinking you really sympathize with them. if she is adept at that then that's a sort of skill

andrew sullivan is a little different. he has been an influential person in american culture for a number of decades and he is a talented polemicist, which is by no means a defense of some of the positions he's taken over the years

i can't think of a defensible reason for a being a coulter fan-anything tbh including spouse boyfriend girlfriend mom dad pet or familiar spirit

nuzzi may or may not be a great journalist, but she's hardly on his level of puerility

if she is writing articles that make cernovich and richard spencer seem halfway acceptable that seems analogous to giving a platform to charles murray
