would anyone be interested in voting in a silly ballot poll on Most Punchable Member of Congress? it seems like something that demands a ballot, because there are so many good options. it would be wonderful to deliver a punch to lindsey graham or jeff flake right now, for example, but mitch mcconnell has been asking for it for years. we could also have Kavanaugh and others as options, too, of course.

i think the democrats need to rally around a few easily understood but widely appealing policy goals and just repeat them over and over. (Single Payer. Fight for 15. Police reform.) That's how trump won -- people knew what his narrative was.

Not what I'm seeing from many women I know.

Hoping that something this outrageous is enough of a stimulus to respond to massively, whereas something remotely resembling justice might not be.
Seeing Trump's benefit as a catalyst to react to seems to have motivated a lot over the last couple of years.
BUt still this does seem to be something that is going to cause a lot of damage.

Cross my fingers and hope for the best. Rose tinted spectacly or whatever.

there's either going to be 0 dems voting for kavanaugh or 1, that 1 being a guy from the state donald trump won by the largest margin. what else are senate dems supposed to do here? there are more republicans in the senate, that is really all that matters in the end.
