Mahomes is pretty good huh

frogbs, Tuesday, 2 October 2018 03:03 (five years ago) link

Great game tonight. That mahomes left handed pass was rad.

Machine Gunk Jelly (Spottie), Tuesday, 2 October 2018 04:24 (five years ago) link

denver did a good job of containing him for a lot of the game, but not quite until the end. awesome game.

shwarmaduke (symsymsym), Tuesday, 2 October 2018 06:56 (five years ago) link

yeah that pass reminded me of something Favre would do. for someone who's basically a rookie he's made a lot of really smart, heads-up plays. no way does Alex Smith engineer that sort of comeback. it's nice that the NFL has multiple exciting young QBs again.

frogbs, Tuesday, 2 October 2018 12:59 (five years ago) link

I love watching the chiefs cos they’re fun on offense and severely flawed on defense

Roberto Spiralli, Sunday, 7 October 2018 20:39 (five years ago) link

that was the worst goddamn looking winning kick I ever seen, it looked like it was f*cking blocked but it was untouched

jfc this team

brownie, Sunday, 7 October 2018 20:41 (five years ago) link

go browns ;)

brownie, Sunday, 7 October 2018 20:41 (five years ago) link

to recap: the Browns kicker missed an extra point and then later on kicked a game winning 37 yard field goal in OT that was like 10 feet off the ground and a knuckle ball.

WORST GAME-WINNING KICK EVER!!!!

Mr. Snrub, Sunday, 7 October 2018 21:01 (five years ago) link

just saw on the break a gronk ad for tide pods and then.. eastern motors ad where a couple of washington football players tell alex smith he needs to study up on go go music!? (if you are not from dc this makes no sense i know)

¯\_(🏈 )_/¯ (daria-g), Sunday, 7 October 2018 21:02 (five years ago) link

HELLO MIAMI, y'all have been BENGALED giving up 27 unanswered in the 4th up 17-0!

WHO DEY!

Doesn't happen much, but you got to shout out when the Bengals beat a team in a way Cincy usually snatches defeat out of the jaws of victory.

earlnash, Sunday, 7 October 2018 22:37 (five years ago) link

ERTZ for UTZ

Seems like a local add marketing idea that should happen.

earlnash, Sunday, 7 October 2018 22:38 (five years ago) link

eagles are not good

k3vin k., Monday, 8 October 2018 02:31 (five years ago) link

I've only watched a couple of quarters all year, including the 4th quarter of the Bengals/Fish game. Reading the recaps and stats, I can't tell who is really good this year.

Rams and Chiefs would be a weird Superbowl matchup, seems very unlikely.

earlnash, Monday, 8 October 2018 13:28 (five years ago) link

yeah Rams & Chiefs are the only two teams that haven't really embarrassed themselves yet

frogbs, Monday, 8 October 2018 13:33 (five years ago) link

let's all just enjoy the chiefs before they fade precipitously and exit the playoffs 0-1. altho the afc looks like it'll be a worse shambles than expected even. maybe the jags will pull their shit together and yesterday will be an aberration for bortles. seemed like the ravens might be scraping something together until yesterday too. hard to believe in cincy.

rams do seem v legit, altho it was funny that when the rams were shit they kept beating the hawks when seattle was good, and the script nearly flipped on them yesterday. bears look p nice too. not sure what happened to the saints defense, but maybe they'll click again thru the season, or maybe last year was the aberration for them.

Roberto Spiralli, Monday, 8 October 2018 15:08 (five years ago) link

had the vikes-iggles game on yesterday and suddenly the TV went blank and i think it might be permanently broken

mookieproof, Monday, 8 October 2018 15:15 (five years ago) link

Random stats: With the Cardinals victory over the 49ers, every team in the NFL now has at least one win, and only six teams have just one win.

reggae mike love (polyphonic), Monday, 8 October 2018 17:47 (five years ago) link

there are v few teams that seem completely hopeless. even bad teams like the cardinals have potential upside. who is the most hopeless team? miami maybe?

Mordy, Monday, 8 October 2018 17:56 (five years ago) link

and they're like 3-1

Mordy, Monday, 8 October 2018 17:57 (five years ago) link

sorry 3-2

Mordy, Monday, 8 October 2018 17:57 (five years ago) link

bills?

Machine Gunk Jelly (Spottie), Monday, 8 October 2018 18:05 (five years ago) link

the bills are worse than miami, they're a contender. that vikings result is not going to become any more explicable as the season wears on. raiders look like the other genuinely bad team in the afc. arizona vs niners might be a playoff for the #1 pick. the giants are probably a notch up from them but maybe not, it would be great if they're truly as bad as they have seemed at times.

Roberto Spiralli, Monday, 8 October 2018 18:11 (five years ago) link

the niners have been brutally unlucky with injuries of course, those other teams all somehow planned to be like this

Roberto Spiralli, Monday, 8 October 2018 18:13 (five years ago) link

bills maybe have a future at qb tho no?

Mordy, Monday, 8 October 2018 18:23 (five years ago) link
