you'll be with the NYC fappers in spirit ... if you want to be, of course

Tad (llamasfur), Sunday, 27 July 2003 07:31 (twenty years ago) link

Oh like hell he will, he hates Christmas AND chocolate, fuck him. Fuck him in the ear.

I'm so there at a Red Lobster FAP, but I think we should go to the one in Wayne, NJ!

Ally (mlescaut), Sunday, 27 July 2003 07:32 (twenty years ago) link

Let's go to both!

Mary (Mary), Sunday, 27 July 2003 07:33 (twenty years ago) link

what's so special about the wayne red lobster? wayne is hardly a ghetto, you know!

Tad (llamasfur), Sunday, 27 July 2003 07:35 (twenty years ago) link

Neither is Times Square if we want to be bitchy about this.

Ally (mlescaut), Sunday, 27 July 2003 07:36 (twenty years ago) link

wasn't trying to be bitchy, i was just curious is all.

Tad (llamasfur), Sunday, 27 July 2003 07:36 (twenty years ago) link

Oh like hell he will, he hates Christmas AND chocolate, fuck him.

See? Outcast. I am so alone.

Kenan Hebert (kenan), Sunday, 27 July 2003 07:38 (twenty years ago) link

well that settles it ... the times square red lobster fap must coincide with the rockefeller square/ice-skating fap

Tad (llamasfur), Sunday, 27 July 2003 07:40 (twenty years ago) link

Ok! Then also I will stop in middle of the street in kogirl outfit and take pictures of random buildings and the sky like all tourists do!!!!

Ally (mlescaut), Sunday, 27 July 2003 07:42 (twenty years ago) link

Tourists take pictures of the sky?

Kenan Hebert (kenan), Sunday, 27 July 2003 07:43 (twenty years ago) link

I've taken a few pictures in NYC myself, but never of the sky.

Kenan Hebert (kenan), Sunday, 27 July 2003 07:44 (twenty years ago) link

I did have a nightmare once that I was in Soho and heading to a bar and the sky turned red and hot and everyone ran into the nearest building to escape from it. That would be worth taking pictures of.

Kenan Hebert (kenan), Sunday, 27 July 2003 07:45 (twenty years ago) link

mmmmmm hush puppies mmmmmmmmm

rosemary (rosemary), Sunday, 27 July 2003 07:56 (twenty years ago) link

anyway ... there must be a better red lobster than the one where you went, yes kenan? or is all austin seafood that bad?

Tad (llamasfur), Sunday, 27 July 2003 07:59 (twenty years ago) link

Hi, I'm an English visitor to this thread.

(looks around with vacant expression, takes picture of sky, leaves)

Mark C (Mark C), Sunday, 27 July 2003 08:24 (twenty years ago) link

Dude, what happened to my post??

Texas Sam (thatgirl), Sunday, 27 July 2003 08:26 (twenty years ago) link

It's with your car

Ally (mlescaut), Sunday, 27 July 2003 08:34 (twenty years ago) link

then it is sweating its ass off and probably being pillaged by crackheads.

Texas Sam (thatgirl), Sunday, 27 July 2003 08:41 (twenty years ago) link

I submit my post, I go to bed, I wake up, I look at this thread and I realize that perhaps not everyone is familiar with a certain LL Cool J song.

Nate Patrin (Nate Patrin), Sunday, 27 July 2003 14:47 (twenty years ago) link

the times square red lobster fap must coincide with the rockefeller square/ice-skating fap

nooooo, these two activities are diametrically opposed and should never be put in tandem with each other

Mary (Mary), Sunday, 27 July 2003 19:23 (twenty years ago) link

ok, but only cause you said so mary!

Tad (llamasfur), Sunday, 27 July 2003 19:24 (twenty years ago) link

How are they diametrically opposed though? Anyway we should ice-skate and then have hot chocolate in a Starbucks and then go shop at FAO Schwarz.

Ally (mlescaut), Sunday, 27 July 2003 23:42 (twenty years ago) link

I like Red Lobster. It sure ain't ghetto in State College.

Anthony Miccio (Anthony Miccio), Monday, 28 July 2003 00:01 (twenty years ago) link

did bubba sparxx play the state college red lobster? he looks like someone who could eat all of the "all you can eat" shrimp.

Tad (llamasfur), Monday, 28 July 2003 00:18 (twenty years ago) link

I hear that Bubba Sparxx stays away from shrimp, for fear of the Forrest Gump-related jokes.

oops (Oops), Monday, 28 July 2003 00:20 (twenty years ago) link

life is like a box of all-you-can-eat shrimp

Tad (llamasfur), Monday, 28 July 2003 00:21 (twenty years ago) link

at first it's tasty and you can't get enough of it...

oops (Oops), Monday, 28 July 2003 00:23 (twenty years ago) link

...and then you run out of cocktail sauce and your best friend runs off with your girl.

oops (Oops), Monday, 28 July 2003 00:24 (twenty years ago) link

Red Lobster = summer, Nantucket, ocean shore vibe
Ice skating at Rock Center = winter, bilowy, X-mas vibe

If we combine them we will feel like we are Daryl Hannah in Splash.

Mary (Mary), Monday, 28 July 2003 01:44 (twenty years ago) link

Why wouldn't we want to feel that way, though?

Ally (mlescaut), Monday, 28 July 2003 01:57 (twenty years ago) link

Except for having to date Tom Hanks, I guess.

Ally (mlescaut), Monday, 28 July 2003 01:57 (twenty years ago) link

Olive Garden > Chili's > TGI Friday's > Applebees > ... n^x ... > Red Lobster

Aaron A., Monday, 28 July 2003 02:17 (twenty years ago) link

Red Lobster = summer, Nantucket, ocean shore vibe

What? This is so not even true!

Paul Eater (eater), Monday, 28 July 2003 02:21 (twenty years ago) link

Red Lobster = "you're 500 miles from water, but we will still dare to serve you seafood and pretend that it's fresh and tasty" vibe

Kenan Hebert (kenan), Monday, 28 July 2003 02:23 (twenty years ago) link

Or, if you live near a coast, it's the "you're right near the ocean, the town is full of good seafood, and you're eating here???!!!" vibe.

Kenan Hebert (kenan), Monday, 28 July 2003 02:24 (twenty years ago) link

Yes, yes, I know, I was overstating for the purpose of the comparison. People do get hoity-toity about their chain restaurants. If you all want to end up crying like Madison in the bathroom with no legs that's fine, just don't expect me to condone such madness.

Mary (Mary), Monday, 28 July 2003 02:26 (twenty years ago) link

I've lived my entire life in hopes of becoming a mermaid, don't dash my dreams now. My kindergarten teacher told me I could be anything I wanted.

Ally (mlescaut), Monday, 28 July 2003 02:27 (twenty years ago) link

Okay okay, the mermaid FAP ;) but! can we really wait until the ice freezes over before we go to Red Lobster? I don't think so!

Mary (Mary), Monday, 28 July 2003 02:31 (twenty years ago) link

Well obviously no! I want to go now!

Ally (mlescaut), Monday, 28 July 2003 02:38 (twenty years ago) link

I think I am busy the day of this FAP, sorry.

Paul Eater (eater), Monday, 28 July 2003 02:40 (twenty years ago) link

Surprise surprise you are too good for us yet again! see if you get your cds now.

Ally (mlescaut), Monday, 28 July 2003 02:42 (twenty years ago) link

Who wants your lobster-smelling CDs anyway?!

Paul Eater (eater), Monday, 28 July 2003 02:48 (twenty years ago) link

Haha it's not even real lobster dude, I mean come on, Red Lobster.

Ally (mlescaut), Monday, 28 July 2003 02:58 (twenty years ago) link

Why, do you have another date with phil or something?

We should totally go to a Jersey Red Lobster.

rosemary (rosemary), Monday, 28 July 2003 03:18 (twenty years ago) link

But the brand-new Times Sq. Red Lobster needs our support!

Mary (Mary), Monday, 28 July 2003 15:54 (twenty years ago) link

Yeah, especially if Tad is going to pay for me.

Ally (mlescaut), Monday, 28 July 2003 15:56 (twenty years ago) link

i walked in the general vicinity this morning and forgot to check out whether it's open or not ... i'll tie a string to my finger so i remember to do so on my way home tonight

Tad (llamasfur), Monday, 28 July 2003 15:56 (twenty years ago) link

It opened last week!

Mary (Mary), Monday, 28 July 2003 16:16 (twenty years ago) link

five months pass...
yo

Eisbär (llamasfur), Tuesday, 13 January 2004 04:59 (twenty years ago) link

I used to eat there all the time when we lived in Ohio, but I always got the chicken, which I guess was kind of missing the point. I don't know, it was pretty good. People who ate there seemed to act like it was kind of "fancy" to frequent Red Lobster.
