reading deems livecomms of a spurs game, you have no idea who's winning or how many goals there have been

imago, Tuesday, 18 September 2018 18:23 (five years ago) link

but you usually know the ref is a cunt

Number None, Tuesday, 18 September 2018 18:26 (five years ago) link

Take it as read.

Zach Same (Tom D.), Tuesday, 18 September 2018 18:26 (five years ago) link

Can’t really begrudge a goal like that.

Dmac TT (darraghmac), Tuesday, 18 September 2018 18:48 (five years ago) link

Poch out

Inter were fairly shit. They spent most of the match looking for Spurs players to be booked

. (Michael B), Tuesday, 18 September 2018 18:50 (five years ago) link

spurs best performance this season but that was two shit goals to concede at any stage on any stage

PSG are a joke

Number None, Tuesday, 18 September 2018 20:53 (five years ago) link

Otm. Good for Firminho to get it

lbi's life of limitless european glamour (Le Bateau Ivre), Tuesday, 18 September 2018 20:56 (five years ago) link

I came late and didn't know the lineups and spent much of the first half wondering if neymar or mbappe had even started

gbx, Tuesday, 18 September 2018 20:57 (five years ago) link

Odd second half, PSG didn't seem remotely arsed and Liverpool just passed it around and got complacent which allowed PSG to sneak back into it. Salah looks well off the pace.

. (Michael B), Tuesday, 18 September 2018 21:09 (five years ago) link

Was Keita injured?

gbx, Tuesday, 18 September 2018 21:19 (five years ago) link

Nah he was on the bench

Yes, he doesn't look like a football manager, that's for sure.

(xp) Well, they both look very German, true.

Zach Same (Tom D.), Tuesday, 18 September 2018 22:58 (five years ago) link

Shaktar-Hoffenheim an entertaing blend of brilliance and ineptitude. Julian Nagelsmann has ditched his usual jeans and t-shirt and is looking more like Miles Teller than ever.

oscar bravo, Wednesday, 19 September 2018 18:32 (five years ago) link

Ajax vs AEK game entirely predictable. Ajax winning 3-0 against a team that would be put to shame by Charlton Athletic, and yet all the media and Ajax themselves acting like they just butchered Real Madrid. Some things never change.

Ronaldo straight red

Lyon 1-0 up against Citeh

No idea why Ronaldo got a straight red but lol it's on

Off the ball incident apparently

. (Michael B), Wednesday, 19 September 2018 19:35 (five years ago) link

i’m just gonna enjoy lyon leading 1-0 cos there’s no way they can hold on to that

Jibe, Wednesday, 19 September 2018 19:36 (five years ago) link

As the biggest hater of Cron on the planet I must conclude the video evidence is inconclusive non-existent.

Firmly rooting for Lyon, Jibe, you're not alone!

lbi's life of limitless european glamour (Le Bateau Ivre), Wednesday, 19 September 2018 19:40 (five years ago) link

Yeah, that’s a joke.

Wag1 Shree Rajneesh (ShariVari), Wednesday, 19 September 2018 19:41 (five years ago) link

apparently he's out of both Utd games now lol

Utd have been poor natch, but Pogba scored a lovely goal and Dalot looks quite promising

Number None, Wednesday, 19 September 2018 19:42 (five years ago) link

Pogba goal was gr8.

Nb. For the very first time in my life I am watching a telly show that clicks from goal to goal and highlight to highlight, between all six CL matches on right now. This is not how football was meant to be enjoyed. Very odd.

lbi's life of limitless european glamour (Le Bateau Ivre), Wednesday, 19 September 2018 19:45 (five years ago) link

lol now they score a second
what the hell is happenig

Jibe, Wednesday, 19 September 2018 19:45 (five years ago) link

Second for Lyon!

penalty decision was a shocker. Handball extremism is killing football

Pogba's run-up was so so great tho

lbi's life of limitless european glamour (Le Bateau Ivre), Wednesday, 19 September 2018 19:48 (five years ago) link

h8 the run-up so much

Number None, Wednesday, 19 September 2018 19:48 (five years ago) link

Nah, Pogba ran up the nerves of the keeper there.

Agree that this handball-nazism is killing footy tho

Insane how the qualifying rounds for next season are taking place before the semis are even over. The competition has lapped itself.

Matt DC, Tuesday, 18 August 2020 20:25 (three years ago) link

Ah, how did Depay not score? Pretty sure I could have chipped the keeper from there.

Scampo di tutti i Scampi (ShariVari), Wednesday, 19 August 2020 19:06 (three years ago) link

Enjoyed the serge gnabry arjen robben tribute goal. Coutinho looked really good when he came on.

Flicked over to 5live after the game to hear Sutton and Dublin lambasting the Lyon forward for missing 2 chances which apparently one can't do "at this level" and separates out the really top strikers from the average whilst willfully ignoring the fact that the chance lewandowski missed that led to gnabry's 2nd goal was way worse.

Final should be tasty.

oscar bravo, Wednesday, 19 August 2020 21:09 (three years ago) link

possible caveat: Lewandowski's 55 goals in 46 appearances this season

Number None, Thursday, 20 August 2020 07:39 (three years ago) link

i sure hope it won't be 10 more years before lyon get back to the cl semis (but honestly their chances are low, they are nowhere near the level of the big money clubs... tbh i'd probably be happier to see them in the europa league where they stand a chance)and that if they do they can avoid munich. two semis lost 3-0 to bayern (ok in 2010 they lost 1-0 and 3-0).
anyways, i hope psg beat bayern on sunday, even if it'll mean my psg supporting friends become even more annoying.

Jibe, Thursday, 20 August 2020 10:57 (three years ago) link

picked psg to win this itt in february so guess i'll stick with them but there are probably more bayern players i like than psgers. neymar has been ridic good this knockout phase and maybe he'll sort his finishing tonight.

oscar bravo, Sunday, 23 August 2020 18:43 (three years ago) link
