The best Nintendo Switch Games: a perpetual poll

Everyone loves polls and ranking things and the Nintendo Switch, nobody loves eligibility criteria, end-of-year stuff is old hat. Let's do a perpetual poll.

How to vote

Whenever you like, post a list of up to 10 games for the Nintendo Switch in this thread, ranked from best to least-best. If your top 10 changes, post again.

Every so often (monthly, maybe) I'll tabulate all most-recent-votes and provide a top N where N is whatever I feel like given the circumstances.

Hall of fame

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Super Mario Odyssey are preemptively elevated to the hall of fame, and are ineligible for voting.

Kart also HoF?

Do they have to be Switch-exclusive?

No.

I meant to include that clause in the OP. Just the best games to play on the Switch. If you like Doom (2016) but don’t think it is good on the Switch don’t vote for it here, for example.

i havent played The Stretchers but that's a first party coop game that nintendo kinda snuck out the door and looks reasonably fun
there's a pack of a bunch of old capcom beat-em-up arcade games if you like those

I haven't played it, but Children of Morta has 2p co-op and allegedly plays like Gauntlet Legends

xp there's too many games on switch now for this type of bookkeeping imo. i know xenoblade 2 and mario odyssey are still my favorite Switch Games but lots of my favorite classic games or indie games that i played elsewhere have been ported onto here and i can't be bothered to comb through lists to figure out which

i know there's a lot of games on the switch but the estore is bloody impossible to browse, i'm considering buying the capcom games collection to just pump quarters into "knights of the round" with the wife and wanted to see if there's anything else, hell if i know, "best sellers" is bloated with mega-discounted shovelware. i guess the advantage of playing a switch port of something vs just getting it cheaper on steam is really for multiplayer... fun casual multiplayer game recs welcome.

I was a huge River City Ransom fan growing up so I'm really looking forward to picking this up. The sports games might qualify as fun and casual but RCR itself led to lots of fights with my brother when we'd accidentally kill each other.

"Downtown Special Kunio-kun's Historical Period Drama!" is a dope samurai re-skin of RCR, amazed we're getting a non ROM-hack way to play it for real in 2020.

Worms is on switch and still a whole lotta mp fun
