Drafting ballot right now, just found via Wiki that all of these songs were recorded on 7 June 1970, released on Elvis Country. There were some really fertile sessions once he was reinvigorated after the 1968 special and before the Colonel's live touring treadmill kicked in:

A lot of my stuff ended up being later-period and like, half of From Elvis In Memphis, and a lot of known singles.
I should have dug in to his catalog more but I feel like I just needed to vote with my heart.

Hope I'm not the only one voting for Crawfish, Pocketful of Rainbows and Animal Instinct as they're pretty high on my ballot and deserve a place in his best songs.

Animal Instinct is so underrated. Almost noone namedrops it when talking Elvis. It doesn't help that it was cut from one of his worst rated movies, Harum Scarum.
Hope it makes it because it's awesome and sounds like it should've been a James Bond theme, but in case it doesn't here's for your enjoyment:

I didn't vote for it either, but I didn't get a chance to do any serious relistening, so there's a ton of deserving songs missing from my ballot.

Yeah, in the end I had um, fish or cut bait and cast a ballot, so my choices are pretty obvious, not a lot of deep cuts.
