it's too bad, in a world that wasn't dumb his first 100 panels or so could just be syndicated in black in white in the cartoon section of hundreds of newspapers and they'd be by far the funniest thing in there every single day. but you're not allowed to have a syndicated cartoon unless you're completely bland and humorless or struck some sort of deal with satan back in the early 1980s.

PBF is awesome but obviously a lot of that is due to the fact that the author doesn't have to crank 'em out every day, every week, or every month

didn't know he'd done so many recently, some of them are pretty weak. gentleworms & treatment (the toilet plunger head one) are both headscratchers. can someone could spell out the punchline to either of those? perhaps i'm being naive...

Her psychiatrist has fixed her problems, but her husband is inevitably going to reverse all the progress they made (she is a toilet clogged with tampons, her husband is a box of tampons) - gentleworms is just a fairly silly take on the separation of soul and body, don't think there is that much to say about it.
