Miguel dropped an EP with (semi-)Spanish versions of five War & Leisure tracks. The most interesting one is title track “Te Lo Dije”, which is “Told You So” transformed into a mariachi (I’m guessing) “duet” with Flor de Toloache.

I’m usually very pro-drugs but Miguel is the sort of artist who I think would benefit from cutting down on them. Everything he has released since Wildheart sounds unfocused to me. Hell, even Wildheart sounds unfocused tbh.

“Do You?” is about MDMA which he has admitted to liking. I can’t find the interview so maybe I’m mistaking him, but I remember seeing one where he sort of admitted having seasons of smoking weed daily before breakfast.

I mean they’re “soft drugs” so whatever but daily use sort of kills the recreational use of it imho.
