ogmor, Friday, 6 July 2018 18:47 (five years ago) link

On the basis of this tournament alone, Gabriel Jesus is the most fraudulent player in the World Cup.

Matt DC, Friday, 6 July 2018 18:48 (five years ago) link

braz just got belged

I'd Rather Kecak (NickB), Friday, 6 July 2018 18:48 (five years ago) link

scopin' VARs (Sufjan Grafton), Friday, 6 July 2018 18:51 (five years ago) link

Best thing about that KDB goal is Lukaku just lying there on his chest until the exact moment it goes in.

Matt DC, Friday, 6 July 2018 18:51 (five years ago) link

jesus has been particularly useless today

J0rdan S., Friday, 6 July 2018 18:52 (five years ago) link

^p much my daily slogan

fuck the NRA (Neanderthal), Friday, 6 July 2018 18:56 (five years ago) link

i know it's been posted upthread but if you haven't read this, you should: https://www.theplayerstribune.com/en-us/articles/romelu-lukaku-ive-got-some-things-to-say

lukaku seems like a million times more thoughtful/intelligent than neymar, that alone is enough for me to prefer BEL

gbx, Friday, 6 July 2018 18:56 (five years ago) link

Jesus is, or will be, a great player but he's particularly badly suited to playing the lone striker in this system. Seems fairly obvious that Firmino would do better and bring other players into the game in the process.

Matt DC, Friday, 6 July 2018 18:57 (five years ago) link

like kimmich, marcelo probably a luxury too far for these games

ogmor, Friday, 6 July 2018 18:57 (five years ago) link
