Yeah its not too bad. I don't expect commentary teams to say anything interesting about the football (I know) so the least they could do is bring something else - like they are positive about being at a fkn world cup, the place.

I was thinking the only positive benefit of VAR is Lawro being so relentlessly negative it will be a turn off and they can use that as an excuse to get rid of him. If a heart attack doesn't do it first.

I have to assume at this stage that a reasonable proportion of viewers hate football as much as he does.

Or at least hate the bits between goals.
