Nordic...

This is the Andy Garcie movie I'm in. It was filmed as Sins of the Father
http://www.cinestudio.it/_uscite_01_02/_loc7/theunsaidloc.jpg

As far as I can tell, it was only ever released theatrically in Italy.
I'm in 2 of the university scenes.

1) Garcia is giving a lecture. Sharp viewers will notice me in all parts of the hall. Since they shuffled us around for each take.

2) Garcia and Teri Polo leave the university. I walk behind him as he leaves the building, and then cross right in front of him (so close that I shoulder-checked during one take). I should be visible. I'm wearing a green canvas jacket. It was supposed to be late fall in Kansas or Kentucky, but was really scorching hot August in Saskatchewan. So I'm probably glistening. That was a fun two days. I made $200 or something, and basically sat around and ate sandwichs.

Movies, nor movie posters, just don't get any dudlier than this:

The tag line alone is pretty shit. I can think of about 10 things wrong with it.

Nick A. (Nick A.), Thursday, 1 May 2003 17:51 (twenty-one years ago) link

no they must both remain. KJ is that much of a dud that it deserves double the whatever it is we're doing to duds here.

Horace Mann (Horace Mann), Thursday, 1 May 2003 17:51 (twenty-one years ago) link

That kangaroo jack tagline is my new obsession.

they banned that movie in Saskatchewan. Where I live.

Horace Mann (Horace Mann), Thursday, 1 May 2003 19:48 (twenty-one years ago) link

I think any recent film that has had a poster involving two famous actors, each facing the viewer, with each face cut off by half due to poster size and design, has been a bad movie.

Aaron Grossman (aajjgg), Thursday, 1 May 2003 19:55 (twenty-one years ago) link

notable exception:

Any poster with an animal's face twisted into some humanoid emotion = THIS IS A DUD

Nordicskillz (Nordicskillz), Friday, 2 May 2003 04:57 (twenty-one years ago) link

some humanoid emotion

Are you an alien, Nordicskillz?

Are you an alien, Nordicskillz?

I'll be a legal alien from June!

Nordicskillz (Nordicskillz), Friday, 2 May 2003 07:53 (twenty-one years ago) link

I love how almost every word on the cover is a superlative. Overselling an inferior product is an invitation to suicide.

Is that a solid gold dick and balls? Why?

Martin Skidmore (Martin Skidmore), Saturday, 3 May 2003 16:31 (twenty-one years ago) link

!!!! What in the...um, translate the URL and tagline, please?

Ned Raggett (Ned), Saturday, 3 May 2003 16:32 (twenty-one years ago) link

Martin - yes; because it looks like the USS Enterprise.

Ned - URL: "Bully's Love Boat Surprise Period 1"; tagline: "Quit cradling your balls!"

Go figure.

Billy Dods (Billy Dods), Saturday, 3 May 2003 18:17 (twenty-one years ago) link

I can't begin to imagine the meeting where "The smart one isn't wearing any pants" was approved as the tagline for this movie. (Not that we can see if the man has pants or not anyway.)

Martin Skidmore (Martin Skidmore), Saturday, 3 May 2003 18:44 (twenty-one years ago) link

Is that David Arquette in a cage? Holy cow.

Martin Skidmore (Martin Skidmore), Saturday, 3 May 2003 22:03 (twenty-one years ago) link

Looks more like a hot chick poster to me.

Leee (Leee), Sunday, 4 May 2003 00:16 (twenty-one years ago) link

I honestly can't decide if this poster is great or horrible.

jocelyn (Jocelyn), Thursday, 14 July 2005 14:42 (eighteen years ago) link

Anything with a huge picture of David Arquette's face is, by definition, horrible.
