as a new subscriber, do you get access to stuff that was put up before you were a subscriber?

this new one is perplexing, i like it a lot, but yeah this band seems like 10 bands put together

You can go back and hear/see everything from past months (streaming Soundcloud/Vimeo embedded players), but you can only download files (FLAC, MP3, etc.) from the current month. If you find something from the past you really like, I hear they will send you a file if you ask nicely...

this might be Cheer-Accident 101, in which case I apologise, but I did not know that one of their 90s bassists did the sound design on the Mortal Kombat games, and that there is a Cheer-Accident "ad" in the arcade game NBA Jam

Recommended listening for the early '90s indie rock + Mortal Kombat fan: "The Why Album" by Cheer-Accident

Cheer-Accident (whose name you might recognize from an NBA Jam sideline ad) briefly featured Dan "TOASTY!" Forden on bass. He played on this record: https://t.co/91Zt7HQlKk pic.twitter.com/CuVB1doczF

In another touch of authenticity, boards along the sidelines changed ads between periods. Midway wanted to use the same sponsors as NBA television broadcasts, but the league didn’t want to leverage any trademarks it didn’t own. As a result, the team came up with its own sponsors. NBA Jam was brought to you by the likes of Tortorice’s Pizzeria (a real local pizza chain), Air Morris sneakers (a fake shoe brand), Cheer-Accident (the indie rock band Mortal Kombat sound designer Dan Forden played in), and the inevitable Mortal Kombat II.

I should listen to the new stuff!

I saw them live once in an apartment above a store in the downtown of /my college town/. Given the timing, maybe JCLC (who has posted on the thread) was at the show?
