2 of my favourites PS songs open it but always used to drift off in the middle of this one before the end pulls me back.

Horsechimes has really crept up on me recently, but then really it's The World Awake because that "knocking proudly on your door" line kills me. Or maybe it is Life of Surprises.

xp, yeah, let's go back to it after this one closes. The ILM PS contingent seems to be solidifying.

I'm not sure this deserves quite such a longue durée poll… but maybe December would have been fair.

i’m not a natural prefab sprout constituent but i had a revelation on the tube before christmas.

looking at that langley park poll, it is obviously factually wrong (Nightingales 0, Golden Calf 0). Yes, let's deal with that.

Is there a good book about Sprout? I’d love to hear the backstory behind the glory years, why this album was shelved etc.. I’ve heard some good podcasts with Thomas Dolby and Paddy but never read anything long and substantial.
