both doing/did well, but without the sense that they'll continue moving things forward commercially long and sprawling albums, when compared to their breakthroughs5 and a half minute less immediate than normal opening singles
a few parallels for sure? Forever is certainly more highly regarded, but, that album took a minute to find its fans.

Supastars is actually pretty great, btw. It’s no t-shirt but it has grown on me.
And the verses on WTF were good iirc? The problem was that they didn’t quite come together as songs, and that there weren’t many real hits.
