Tbf, I never loved the Sinead O'Connor version and prefer some things about Prince's vocal and arrangement. This isn't a thread about things I care about, though.

I certainly did. But I muted the word “kanye” on Twitter today, because I REALLY don’t care about him at all. I’ve never liked a single one of his songs, and he has always seemed like a genuine piece of shit human being, who nobody’s ever gonna want (pay) me to write about. So why do I need to waste brain cells on the guy?

i don't think i care about jordan peterson. i didn't know who he was until the thread for him on here and i googled him and i think i don't care. i already had to live through camille paglia in my life.

i googled camille to see what she's up to. feel like i haven't seen her on t.v. in decades. nice to see people are still doing those "from bach to the beatles!"blurbs for books.

i don't care about kanye! in a completely benign non-judgmental way. and i don't care about his hijinks. i don't think i've ever listened to an entire album by him. listened to some stuff on youtube when people talked about a new song. not my kinda thing.

or more accurately: i would listen to a new song when people talked about it on ilm. i feel like his presence in my life is almost 100% ilm-related.

I don't even hate superhero movies, but the market glut has seriously sapped my ability to care about each new blockbuster release

i just took off two days of work and the weather is gorgeous, we just biked around to different parks and I've barely been on my phone and that feels amazing, a couple days away from the internet makes me realize there are so many dumb frivolous things i just don't care about right now!

it feels especially liberating checking in for a second - Kanye, white house correspondents, same fucking twitter takes one after the next, who gives a shit???? I need to get outside more and away from my desk and my phone
